Pitango Quartet

Pitango Quartet perform fresh Tango music interpretation, while respecting the tradition. The quartet was founded in 2003 by four Israeli classical musicians. They have trained with prominent Tango masters at the "Casa Del Tango", in Argentina. Winners of the "Mano Blanca" museum award, Buenos Aires. Pitango Quartet is a leading voice in the Israeli tango scene. Along with their regular quartet concerts, they initiate major Tango productions with guest artists, and perform as soloists with orchestras.
